Noel Reid
Technical Services Director – Hotels
Noel is a qualified quantity surveyor and an associate member of the RICS. He was based in Johannesburg for 20 years as co-owner of QS company Venn & Milford and worked on various hotel and mining projects in 17 African countries. Noel was pivotal in the construction of two Abercrombie & Kent properties in the Okavango Delta, Botswana; Chobe Chilwero Lodge and Chiefs Camp. After returning to London in 2002, he has provided both QS and project management services on an assortment of buildings, including The Ampersand (Kensington) The Vintry & Mercer Hotel (City of London), a hotel for UCLH patients receiving cancer treatment and the construction of several MRI suites, also for UCLH. His services were integral in the upgrade of the Art Deco Burgh Island Hotel; situated on a private island in South Devon. A Freeman of the City of London and a livery man with the Plaisterers Livery Company, Noel is also the Managing Director/Owner of Bradbrook Project and Cost Management with offices on Regent Street. As Technical Services Director of Dehavilland Collection; Noel oversees all construction projects within the company from conception to completion.
